Bromelain powder (pineapple) a proteolytic (protein-digesting) enzyme found in pineapple juice and stem. This gentle fruit enzyme dissolves mature skin cells to exfoliate, brighten and hydrate the skin – revealing a smoother complexion – without disturbing your skin’s pH or causing irritation. Bromelain also has unique anti-inflammatory properties and calms redness.
Papaya fruit powder (papain) originating in Central America, papaya was harvested by natives to extract the juice, recognized for its medicinal properties. Papaya fruit powder is rich in papain, a natural protease enzyme of the fruit, with beneficial properties. It acts as a natural exfoliating agent, gently removing mature cells at the stratum corneum surface without affecting healthy cells, deeply cleansing and rejuvenating the skin, to restore its natural glow and softness.
Kaolin a soft white clay mineral historically used to purify the skin by adsorbing impurities and toxins. Commonly referred to as “China Clay” – named after the hill in Kao-Lin from which it was mined for centuries. It is chemically inert and nonabrasive.
Pink clay a detoxifying natural mineral composed of extremely fine particles of silicates and metal trace elements such as magnesium, selenium, zinc, sodium, and iron (from which it gets its characteristic pink colour.) Cautiously removing impurities and mature skin cells, this natural french pink clay helps promotes cell ionic exchange and is known for its oil absorption properties and firming effects.

Hyaluronic acid 1.2- 1,5DA – one gram of hyaluronic acid can hold up to six litres of water, making it a significant ingredient in hydrating skincare formulations. Its skin-plumping effect makes it especially popular in anti-aging products, to smooth fine lines and wrinkles caused by dryness. High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid (HA) stays on top of the outermost layer of the skin and hydrates efficiently, making it especially suitable for a rinse-off product. Da is short for Daltons which are the units of molecular weight. The HA used in Omnipotent Phyt Desquam falls within the range 1.2-1.5 Million Daltons and is a higher molecular weight of HA found in its natural state. Sodium hyaluronate (the salt in HA) is a polysaccharide prepared by natural fermentation biosynthesis via microbes. It is one of the most effective humectants available and binds water within the intercellular structure of the skin, for intense hydration. Long-term application of sodium hyaluronate is proven to reduce skin roughness and significantly increase skin elasticity with a youth enhancing effect.
Calendula powder (Marigold) – bactericidal, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory – and perhaps best known for its effectiveness in helping to soothe skin problems such as burns, insect bites, eczema, skin ulcers, and rashes. The petals and pollen contain triterpenoid esters (an anti-inflammatory) as well as carotenoids, flavoxanthin and auroxanthin (antioxidants and the source of the yellow-orange coloration). The leaves and stems provide further carotenoids goodness, like lutein (80%) and zeaxanthin (5%), and beta-carotene.
